Man Files Lawsuit

(October 26, 2012)-CHINA- A man from northern China divorced and sued his wife for being ugly. He won $120,000 in the lawsuit and has once again made the world question the validity of phrases like “marriage” and “love”.

The northern Chinese man, Jian Feng, married his wife and was reportedly absolutely in love with her. Soon after being married, Mrs. Feng became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl. After Mr. Feng took one look at the baby he knew something was amiss.

He thought the baby was incredibly ugly. In fact he was horrified. The baby resembled neither of her parents. Mr. Feng demanded to know who the father was because of course jumping to conclusions about your wife’s faithfulness is the obvious thing to do when you have an ugly baby.

As it turns out, his wife didn’t cheat, but did neglect to tell her husband that she had spent $100,000 on intense plastic surgery to dramatically alter her appearance before she met him. It’s the kind of thing that can slip your mind on the first date. And certainly not a subject that one would bring up during the honeymoon. So after pressing his wife into telling her secret and revealing that she was born a real uggo, Mr. Feng took the only right-minded course of action. He divorced her and then sued her. The lawsuit claiming that she got him to marry her under false pretenses. The false pretense being that she was genuinely and naturally good looking.

Incredibly, the judge sympathized with Feng and awarded him $120,000. Twenty thousand more than his ugly ex wife had spent to fool him him into thinking she was genetically beautiful.
