  • Typical Al-Arabia whitewash.

Not a mention of Al-Nusra and Ahrar Al-Sham. Nor of the extortion, kidnapping, ransoming, and murder that all the FSA groups do to support their durka habit.

    • @DEADBEEF you use the word FSA as if it was one united coherent force with a single command structure, but in fact they are part of an amalgamation of different groups with separate political goals and ideological beliefs. This is why its called a civil war, its Christians vs Sunnis vs Alawites vs seculars vs nationalists vs Kurds vs the government.

It would be like going to a buffet and saying i tasted this one food and i don't want to taste others because they are all from the same restauran More..

You missed out on the criminal gangs. They do certainly exist as well and are into turf wars, murder and extortion just like the rest.

    • @fookalah has your country ever had a major civil war? Its not pretty. I wouldn't believe the American revolutionaries wanted democracy after hearing about what they did to capture British soldiers either.

  • Al Arabiya is about as objective about the Syrian opposition as Press TV is on the Syrian government...yet somehow people still see the former as a legitimate news source in the Middle East and not a tool used by a regime. I was half expecting the female correspondent to mention that the FSA fighters also believe strongly in democratic principles as well, but that would be too far of a stretch.

    • @honey_badger_dont_care they have no choice but to use the radicals since the international community is silent. Maybe its because Syria doesn't have as much oil as Libya did, who knows?

    • @KingSize0 The international community isn't silent - one country that sounds like a bird has been consistently squawking (most recently about border violations) while letting those radicals hike across the border with all their weapons and explosives.

They're not silent, if the US and it's lackeys had it their way, we would have the UN in there blowing shit up.

It's Russia and China that continues to VETO the presence of other countries, they continue to VETO all sanctions the US is trying to pass.

  • Al-Arabiya, yea right.......why not just have Al-Jazeera making a report, please.

These people don't realize who or what they are supporting, it's much too far over their heads.

  • Those rebels sure do need more arms, it isn't as if they already get direct shipments from Saudi Arabia...
