    • @unschlagbar Yeah, it's the evil successful private sector at fault. Not the government spending like retarded teenage children with their first credit card.

Good thing all those bank tellers got what was coming to them when those banks were burned down by the welfare leeches right? Those clerks that were trapped inside and burned to death. JUSTICE!

  • Sad. And knowing the cause of this bankruptcy related to my country makes it more sad. Greece spend a lot of money buying weapons in last few years because of seeing Turkey as a big threat. We got too much similarity except our religion and past is past. Dunno why all the dumbs out there putting history on stage and brainwashing the youths to be enemy of each other.

  • 'Welcome to socialism! May I take your order?'

'Yeah, uh...can I have an extra large pile of debt, worthless bonds, and wide stricken poverty followed by riots in the streets as social services and the economy collapse?'

I feel bad, but Greece are the ones that have spent themselves into oblivion and tied themselves together with the E.U. It was suicide from the start.

    • @cswartz The U.S isnt socialist,so why is it trillions in debt, why has its credit rating been downgraded,10% unemployed, and you had to bail all you major banks out,and your housing market has crashed.

    • @drivenwell2

We're trillions of dollars in debt because we spend too much and we are expanding and continuing insane social programs like the Greeks have.

Our credit has been downgraded because Standard & Moody's is a retarded organization, high unemployment because the President has no idea about how to get people back to work (he likes government investments because he is wasteful) and we bailed the banks out because it was deemed neccessary by the neo-conservatives and people who don' More..

  • Hah look at FatRetard_2010 being a typical racist dipshit as always. It's so sad how insecure that guy is. It's so obvious that he's got serious problems with his own people. Sad thing is that he's a feeble minded dipshit leftist and he's too retarded to grasp that these people in Greece are suffering the consequences of the same retarded politics that he wants.

  • This was caused by greedy fucking bankers, they lent money to the sub prime market.High risk high gains, and lost. They where giving people 5 and 6 times their yearly income,to buy over inflated houses. When the bubble burst, the cunts wanted us to bail them out!In G.B its cost every man and woman about £6000.The fat greedy cunts are still taking their fucking bonus, even though the tax payer owns them.

  • This is not surprising: fiddling on a Herculean scale — from the owner of the smallest shop to the most powerful figures in business and politics — has become as much a part of Greek life as ouzo and olives.

Indeed, as well as not paying for their metro tickets, the people of Greece barely paid a penny of the underground’s £1.5 billion cost — a ‘sweetener’ from Brussels (and, therefore, the UK taxpayer) to help the country put on an impressive 2004 Olympics free of the city’s not More..

    • @Agincort Are you Turkish?lol Our British train drivers earn a flat 40,000.I also know ticket staff earn 30,000 in G.B so whats your point? The Greeks dont like paying tax but British companies dont like paying taxes.Barclays 2 billion profit 2 million tax,off shore accounts for other companies, sham companies for tax evasion. The whole tax system is set up for the self employed and businesss to avoid tax!Only the little people pay tax.The bank crash hurt Greece more than most, but we have all took More..
