  • What is funny is I've seen ten times more poeple supporting Ron Paul and bumper stickers, while I've seen NOBODY, literally NOBODY support Romney.... yet he wins the electoral ballot since he is richer and can throw around more political influence. And I live in one of most populated areas of the US, not some retard town.

    • @MatBower He's done a good job actually. The one big thing we're waiting on is hyperinflation, but it you look up the "in due time" video or videos about the housing crisis you'll see what I mean.

  • RP wasn't the first or only person warning about the danger of fiat money, unconstitutional government, corporatism and socialism but the guy sure has been consistant with his message and voting record.


    The bottom line is no one person can fix this mess and the office of President is limited in power.

    As a newly elected Republican who probably wants to stay in office I can understand what Rand Paul said, I just don't agree with it. I would rather have Rand in office than the alternatives. H More..

The question now is not if we are going to get fucked over by one or the other, it's HOW HARD. The Libertarians are a joke, there is no real third party in sight.   • Everyone who supports Ron Paul should have already known that Rand is not the principled one, he's the politician. Ron goes out and inspires the base, Rand gets the mainstream.

    Of course Rand is going to do this because he has a good shot of being President himself one day. If you like the ideas of liberty and such you should accept that sometimes you gotta kiss ass.     • @86mang75 If i hear what you're saying correctly, you're right, this video was a bit of an over-reaction. Rand has the hard data and he's just facing facts. Besides which, if Romney has ANY political savvy at all (which i doubt) he'll pick Rand for his VP.

    • @Fine_Just_Fine Well I wouldn't say the Paul bid is impossible. No one actually knows for sure who every delegate is personally for, so if enough bound delegates are stealth Ron Paul supporters, they could abstain from the first vote in Tampa, or just vote for someone else and then everyone become unbound if there is no winner.

      It could turn out only 50 of the bound delegates are Paul supporters and it could turn out 1000 are, no one knows, so the doors will always be creaked open until Tampa.
