Terrible formation, highly vulnerable to RPG ambush.
Hit the first and last tank, the others are blocked in and can be picked off at leisure.
At least, that's how it worked in the Afghan when the Russians were fighting the Muj.

This tactic proofs the ineffectiveness of armor-usage in urban terrain....FSA still sitting there filming them while armored platoon fires a few random shots in all directions.....and no matter what...from higher ground its way more easy to pop open the tanks...

@SyrianPropagandaMinister thats what happens when you roll outdated equipment. russians learned it in grozny, thats why the t-90 has an elevated machine gun, in order to fight both high targets and low (as in buildings and sewers). that doesnt mean these ones wouldnt be able to shoot the cameraman down, its just a matter of spotting the bearded jihadists popping a camera out the corner of a window

@jesusland420 there seems to be a lot of distance between the cameraman and the tanks, if camera is at full zoom ,i estimate hes filming from 1500 meters away.

OK let me see if I understand whats going on here. We have the FSA fighting the SSA right? Both sides are using Russian AK47's maybe an occassional 74. Your each using Russian tanks against each other. Both using Russian RPG,s. So who is going to win? The Russians won it. They sold the same shit to both sides.
