I kinda always thought those miniture hand launched UAV's would be an ideal search weapon in this instant battlefield firefight situation.
Launch it and in 30 seconds its hovering above that tree line watching which direction the mooj is slinking away from the battle.

I think the only problem with the mini UAV is that they are loud and tend to get shot down by enemy fire. I may be wrong though.
