@LimitedTime This was actually an incredible accomplishment, in a very competitive field. I believe there is a lot of X-Prize money involved. But, the practicality of the thing is not really the point. They're innovating and creating new possibilities in lightweight engineering.

Quite impressive. However it would be much more impressive if the blades were mounted on top so that he didnt get that much ground effect, which made it a lot easier to hoover.
