After many failed attempts from police to bring the bear down on the ground,the bear was tranquilized and then was captured successfully at crowded university campus.

Same thing happened across the street from where I live... except the bear was in a much higher tree and they used a trampoline, so when it fell it bounced like 20 feet in the air and landed on the ground next to the trampoline... Looked pretty bad, they said it only broke a leg and a few ribs but it seemed worse of a fall than that. Anyhoo I know not what happened to it after that. I hope it is okay.

I seen a bear shot out of a tree once with a rifle, fucker dropped 100 feet bounced off the ground and took off like lightning, we chased it into a cave and killed it with a 357 S&W. Tough bastards
