Britain of the future as seen in the 1960's.
it seems very quaint now but in the mid 60's the mobile phone was still years away from introduction as was the home TV and music centre with the thin screen TV, it was even pre ATM in this country!

Got quite a lot right there. Obviously the show was too short to include the four million surveillance cameras, naked body scanners at the new airport, muslims, Simon Cowell, financial piracy and chavs.
Maybe that was in Part two.

In the 50s and 60s they thought the future was gonna be so easy thanks to the incredible advancement in human technology , some futurists still think that , but as machines / technology got better , our lives got more complicated. go figure.
