  • He's a convicted felon who is on probation for forgery, identity theft and check scams.... he was sentenced to 21 months in prison but was put on probation after one year. Part of his probation was that he not have access to the internet or use any false aliases.

What kind of fucktard does it take to come to this scumbag's defense and suggest that he's been arrested (and released) for anything other than a parole violation?

    Get real.

  • Scary how many ignorant sheeple there are in the US today. The film maker was not arrested, only questioned and released by parole officers. The film maker is a convicted felon for identity theft and fraud. Two of his parole conditions being that he was not allowed access to the internet nor was he allowed to assume a false identity. His detainment had nothing to do with free speech. The film maker is a coward who made a hateful movie by lying to all his actors and then tried to deny he ever More..

    • @mylostsoul Is it standard procedure to send that many cops, at midnight, for a simple non-violent probation violation??... It's the governments way of sending a strong message to the rest of the people who might want to make a video like this... No we won't arrest you, but we'll make sure that you get enough bad publicity to ruin your life... This is not ok with me, and shouldn't be with any true American

    • @seanwoody716 or maybe you don't realize that there are now people who want to kill him, and all the paparazzi

so maybe the police officers were there for his own protection also, when you cause a firestorm like this you'll need a few

so yes its standard procedure, its not a warning at all

not to mention the fool isn't in trouble for just a "simple" probation issue, the dude is a convicted felon, he's not all innocent and cuddly as you'd like him to be, sorry

    • @seanwoody716 The guy is a total sleaze bag. The extra cops were to keep his dumb ass from getting kicked by someone. Your obvious paranoia can be treated now. you should see a mental health professional immediately!

    • @cdlcrash I make a comment on one situation and i'm "paranoid" and need a "mental health professional"??... Ok buddy haha... Let me guess, Liberal right??(Not that your avatar didn't give it away or anything)... Someone has a different opinion and boom, out come the insults haha... Even if I'm wrong and your right, why go down the insult road?? I'm curious... Enlighten me please

  • And this of course has nothing to do with Mr. Nakoula having been convicted of aggravated identity theft over a cheque fraud scheme that used false names and social security numbers and the fact that he spent about a year in prison before being released on parole... Why not blame Obama for that?

    • @Valerie2007 I don't disagree with him being questioned for possible probation violations... What i do disagree with is the way they went about getting him... That many cops at midnight for someone who is "volunteering" to be questioned is an obvious PR move meant to show that we are "doing something"... No other "volunteer" or non-violent probation violator has a dozen cops sent to his house at midnight... Just sayin

    • @seanwoody716

Thing is no other "volunteer" or non-violent probation violator usually attracts so much attention upon himself. Dozens of journalists were at his home before the police, he even initially denied in an interview to AP having anything to do with the movie by pretending to be someone else (in violation of the probation and despite the evidence), the whole world knew and was talking about him. He put himself, his family and perhaps also his neighbours at risk, anyone could More..

  • First off, he was not arrested. He was voluntarily taken into custody after being under investigation for breaching his probation/parole. What was said or done behind closed doors, nobody knows. Amateur propaganda!

  • another bullshit propaganda try by racist republicans.

GOP and its supporters are now even more desperate after their chosen mormon leader was exposed to be racist and against middle class americans.

Like everyone before knew, he is there only for the rich.

  • he was detained for violating parole.

The film maker isn't being charged with inciting riots and he shouldn't be. I know one cannot shout "FIRE" in a crowded theater, but making a film that offends people is not the same. The reaction of islamic fundamentalists is irrational.

  • he was on federal probation, IE... he waived some of his rights to avoid federal prison, chiefly internet usage, which is usually a condition of sex offender registery.

bill whittle is the man, but, this guy sounds like bad news all on his own

    • @kent04 oh he does sound like bad news. i read somewhere it was 40 fraud convictions , which prevented him using the internet. so in uploading the movie he breached his parole. well that was the excuse they used to arrest him.
