KABUL - Afghan insurgents bombarded a U.S. base and destroyed a NATO
helicopter, killing three Afghan intelligence employees, officials said
Tuesday. The coalition said there were also NATO personnel on board who
were wounded, without providing further details.

That is actualy true. If talebunnies knew anything about aiming there just isn't any way that mortars or rockets could fall outside the base. That base is just too big to miss.

Good friend is posted at Bagram, says they've been in and out of the bunkers for the last 24 hours. Not hitting much other than the Chinook with the Afghan officers in it, but said its most incoming he's had in 2 tours.
