all you people getting pissed at this being cruel, i guess none of you eat fast food like kfc? or is it ok if the animals are treated terribly as long as you don't see it?
this lobster probably had a good life up until the end, swimming freely in the wild and eating well. nothing like a chicken for kfc that is so overweight and in such an overcrowded environment that it cant move.

Animals here in the west are often not treated any better. It's just hidden away, so all the consumer sees, is a neatly packaged, convenient cheap piece of meat in the grocery store fridge.
Many of the animals we eat here in the west, lived their whole lives in little cages, and once it's time to slaughter them, they are pushed into trucks, transported under horrible conditions, many injured, and More..

I like Sushi and Sashimi's, and I value fresh foods as much as Japanese people do.
But I still can't find the logic in these kind of things. If you want fresh foods, that is fine with me, but what is the point of letting that animal alive like that? Just kill it properly and you would still have your fresh meat.
