amazing dasmcam video of an officer shot several times during a traffic stop in 2011 in Cape Coral, Florida.
He then opens fire as the car drives away.

waited way too long to fire back, those shots were not going to hit anything, except maybe other innocent motorists. I feel bad for the guy, but that was a poor decision to return fire, injured, with a pistol on a moving target, at that distance. Really bad, and he is really lucky.

When Officer Wagoner approached the passenger side of the car, Rivera shot him three times at point blank range. Two of the three shots struck Officer Wagoner in his bullet-proof vest, while a third shot hit him in the abdomen below the vest.
Officer Wagoner was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital and received emergency surgery for his gunshot wounds. He is currently stable and reported to be in good spirits.

Thank fuck for vests. In this scenario, the cop goes back to his family, whereas that piece of fucking shit goes to jail and gets ass raped for life in a tiny prison cell the size of a fuckin closet.
Should just kill people like this - no need to keep them alive, what the fuck is the point? If they're spending life in jail - kill them. We save money... I mean he is in jail, he has no effect on society other than draining our pockets.

@Epsimrove It's not supposed to go out the window. Training serves to control natural human tendencies, among other things. Humans make mistakes. He would have liked to have fired sooner, and probably was working at getting his weapon unholstered, but by the time he was ready to fire, it was too late, but he fired anyway.
