@Myke Roberts I think it was caused by the big red truck travelling too fast, with the driver not concentrating on what's happening ahead (texting perhaps?). Probably unfamiliar with such trucks and the distance needed to stop.

@eezyrida I think it had to do with all the weight he was carrying and not having enough room to stop the behemoth. The other truck was almost at a complete stop.

Blimey! Very lucky to be alive. I commute 80miles each day to and from work and see so many incidents with lorries, usually with non-UK registrations. I avoid them like the plague and usually overtake 2 lanes away. During the recent torrential rain, guess who was driving the fastest, yep non-UK registered drivers.
