  • There's that toilet flushing sound again.
Romney's entire campaign is hinging on the debate tomorrow night. All Obama has to do is sit back and let Romney talk himself off a cliff. One flub or awkward defensive snap and it's all over for Mittens.

  • Romney doesn't have to push his agenda, whatever it is THIS week. All he has to do is run. The Repubs will vote for him no matter what.

  • Romney is a 99 cent store politician. He's the absolute worst person to represent anyone but himself. How can anyone support him? He will fuck over anyone for a political advantage. Vote for him and you'll see.

    • @sinister283 Romney, like Bush cashed in on his father's name and connections. They both have proven themselves to be stupid, arrogant, and totally selfish.

  • Willard's a goner. Even the dopes that back him see that. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of people.

  • The big money guys need to keep control of the House.

They spent a ton getting tea-party candidates elected in 2010, building on the frustration of the slow economic turn around. They knew the momentum of the turn around would be very much like turning a large sea-going ship around, slow and tedious but they knew the average joe didn't know that.

Now they're faced with a possibility the Democrats will keep the Senate majority and maybe even take back the house. That could cost them with new More..

  • The people that are hurting in the recession are the 47 percent Romney doesn't care about.

  • If they were hedging their bets, they'd give money to the Obamunists. They are giving money to down ticket republicans. Giving money to down ticket republicans does not indicate they believe Obama is winning. Wealthy people know the Obamunists punish their political enemies and use the government to cripple entities that do not donate to them. If they thought Obama was going to win, they'd give to Obama to try to save their skin, at least for a little while, until the final purges against am More..

    • @trialdog You write, "Wealthy people know the Obamunists punish their political enemies and use the government to cripple entities that do not donate to them."

That's odd because I know some rich people and they are expert at "punishing" those who do not comply with their demands. Another thing, they (the rich) never ever forget.

  • An incumbent president (look up the word 'incumbent') at the numbers Odumbaz is at is toast. This will be an anti-Odumbaz landslide.

  • Blah blah blah Romney blah blah blah Obama You people are fucking pathetic. You'd better wise up before it's too late. You're living in a fucking fantasy land. The false left-right paradigm is bringing an end to our society. There is no liberal or conservative. There is tyranny, and there is anarchy, and there is a happy medium that our founding fathers set up for us.

"Desperate Liberals"....LOL. Obama isn't the one that's being written off by his own party. Not to mention the fact that the Republicans have done nothing but throw everything they can find at the wall for the last 4 years. Good luck!

  • She implied that only when one party controls both the Congress and White House things get done.

That's single-party China right there. Not so bad afterall, eh?

    • @immamoron Well, we've seen what happens when the Republicans control the House. We're facing a huge tax increase after the first of the year because they have stopped any action on The Budget Control Act of 2011.

In the following pay particular attention to: "Former Secretary of Defense William Cohen outlined the likely consequences of sequester to the defense budget, calling on Congressional Republicans to choose between "rigid antitax ideology" and national defense."

    • @downhill2400

I think if the Republicans want to push through tax cuts for the rich, they have the right to do so. What I can't understand, though, is why anyone earning less than, say $200k per year, wants to vote them?

The Democrats have their downsides too though.

There should be more than two parties to offer more real choices. A voter has to compromise a lot whether he or she votes the Republicans or Democrats.

    • @immamoron I agree. I will say that I watched an interview recently wherein a British politician said thanks Obama America had recovered to the point of having a 1.5 percent growth in GDP while much of Europe still languishes in a negative growth rate.

Another comment I read was from a former Secretary of Defense who said based on the actions of the Republicans they must hold their allegiance stronger to the 1 percent than to the defense of our country, as their position on the ending of the te More..

    • @ammo1a Why? Even for Fox News this has been pretty well known. They know Romney has no chance, so they are gonna focus on the House and Senate races

    • @boomersooner I cant tell if you are just stupid or just trolling at this point. Why are you in such denial that you are one of the rare few who dont see Romney is getting destroyed in the election? Nate Silver ran something like 322,000 simulations with his data Monday, and in only one, it had Romney tie Obama. The rest had Obama winning by a large margin.
