Y u no like gay people?

In light of the recent chick-fil-a gay marriage controversy, I am genuinely interested on what motivates those who actively support organizations and entities against gay marriage, and those who seek to promote it. It is an extremely heated debate, and while everyone believes his or her opinion may be the only logical one, history has taught us that some fucking dipshit will swear up and down that his way is the right way even in the face of contrary evidence. I would love to see and hear about what motivates your decision making process, or how totally gross two dudes making out is. Whatever blows your hair back.

  • This is one of those issues that I wish both sides would shut the fuck up about. I don't want to hear about your homosexuality or your homophobia.

  • Funny how someone being asked, "Do you support traditional marriage?" "Yes." got turned into, "I hate gays." Then eleventy billion people showed up to buy chicken sandwiches and like 12 gays showed up to protest. And one asshole got fired for videoing himself being a douchebag, can't forget him.

  • I don't think that options you listed shows you "genuinely" want to know anything.

    • @pls53 I understand why you would get that idea, but I am indeed genuinely interested. I am a strong proponent of using humor to incite attention, and in turn, thought. The poll helps, but I get most of the real opinions I am looking for from the comments, just like yours. I thank you for contributing to the discussion.

    • @pls53 True that, the choices were loaded. One rung above the question "at what point did you stop beating your wife?"

  • Myself, I'm just sick of gays pushing (what is clearly to me) a defect in my face all the time like it's normal.

Many accept the gay agenda driven logic that being gay is like having brown hair or blue eyes and is just normal. Of course homosexuality feels normal to a homosexual but in terms of human beings it's not the correct, normal or natural behavior.

The fact that a few animals have been observed exhibiting "homosexual behavior" is irreverent, animals can suffer from the same More..

  • Honestly who gives a fuck? Why do you people support gay people and why are people like my self being targeted for not agreeing with their life style? I don't go out making a big deal about gays. I don't hate them and I sure as shit don't barrade them with attacks. Why is it ok for u people to support them but I can't?

  • So where's the tolerance? If someone doesn't want to be gay, why force your beliefs or view on that person? Who goes around advertizing their heterosexual lifestyle? NOBODY! Is there a heterosexual sex parade? Is there a heterosexual sex day? No, because our country is based on freedom of speech and expression without persecution.

  • stfu gays, straight people don't wear t-shirts "I'm straight", or demonstrate to be proud to be straight, gays are pitiful.

  • There is no controversy, a man just honestly gave his opinion on the subject and since you do not agree with it and it's not a part of your agenda it's a controversy.....People are entitled to their opinions so get over it!!!

    • @jjoe0990 I'd have to disagree. If there was no controversy then thousands wouldn't have turned up to show support for a company under fire from pro gay groups. And while I don't fully agree with the man's opinion, I am the type of american that wouldn't ever seek to harm or censor him. It is his right as an American, and I have and will fight to uphold his right to do so.

Yeah, Hitler just gave his opinions on certain topics, too, he never killed anyone himself, either, after his military service in WW I...

Sorry for the big hammer, but that's the same principle. Why do some people not learn from history, or just apply some common sense at least?

    • @deathOfHeavyD So let me get this straight as it were. This COO was asked his opinion on gay marriage, and because he is a Christian said he was against it, you're comparing the situation to what Hitler did? "MAN" you have a very big dog in this fight!!! You own a gay bar or something?

      Posted Aug-5-2012 By

    • @John Coleman

No, man, from what I've heard from the beginning and read everywhere he said he doesn't like gays - for whatever reason; "being Christian" is as lame and invalid an excuse as anything - and he ACTIVELY supports anti-gay organizations for exactly that reason.

That's a tad more hefty than just answering a question about his personal stance on that topic.

This is hate speech (and action) that has the potential to actually hurt people.

      Sorry, forgot to add:

Nope, no gay bar owner here, just being allergic to the stupidity of some people. ;)

      Not necessarily meaning you.

  • I do not dislike gays because it is nature not nurture. Like being left-handed or having blue eyes, some people are just like that. But I'm convinced the entire gay marriage thing is being pushed by lawyers. You'll see...gays, when you are paying alimony to your same sex spouse you'll wish you'd never pushed the issue!

  • I personally don't have anything against gays, I've got gay friends etc.
What I don't like are these 'fake' gays, you know the ones, the 'drama queens' who make 'mountains out of molehills'. It's embarrassing, retarded and a common sight when in the news.

Real gays are not the stereotypical 'drama queens' that a majority portray themselves to be and quite honestly I think it's a show put on by a bunch of idiots who had issues with authority as a child.

Doesn't matter if straight or gay, which was kinda the point.

Drama queens, the ultimate in attention seeking and exhibitionism, is just embarrassing and that is what a majority of these gay-guys do.
No offense, but 'straight drama queens' as you put it get more infractions in our dear little world than gay drama queens just because 'awww, they're gay tho'.

      One good example? Britney Spears.

  • Keep it up cunts, you're just promoting the Chick-fil-a brand.

And besides, the CEO was asked a question, which he answered. It wasn't hate felt, its an individuals opinion. But that isn't stopping you people from blowing it up with assumptions to promote your own agenda.

  • Lets take God out of marriage for a sec.

Gays are only in it for the Government benefits of marriage.

Take the Government benefits away, then the issue is moot.

    It's as simple as that.

    • @Arizona_Patriot

...and that's different with "regular" couples?

Taking God out of marriate for a sec, that is.

      Posted Aug-5-2012 By

      (1)

    • @Arizona_Patriot Then what are you arguing against? Why can you get Government benefits while gays do not? Since God is out of marriage apparently

      Posted Aug-5-2012 By

      (0)

    • @TEXAS HOLDEM123

That's the issue. Without the government benefits, marriage would be reserved for the "traditional" faith based folk.

      As it should be.

      Posted Aug-5-2012 By

      (0)

    • @Arizona_Patriot By tradition you mean their believes about what their god has to say=the whole hypothesis is based on god being out of the picture for a sec

      Posted Aug-5-2012 By

      (0)

    • @Arizona_Patriot Besides why should it be reserved for "religious/traditional faith base ppl?

Last time I checked gays have served and died in the military for us. Why should we treat them like how we treated our "negroes" back in the days during Vietnam or WW2?

In ww2 German prisoners could visit bars while Black US soldiers coudlnt, now we do not let our gays get married because somehow apparently religious ppl are entitled more than non religious ppl. Thats what Saudi Arabia More..
