Okay, maybe he didn't say it EXACTLY in that order, but he did say it.
Dev Patel, the lead of "Slumdog Millionaire" was on The View recently, and he said that the Indian version of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" is the most popular show there, and the host is treated like a rock star.
He says of the show's host "He could be a politician; he's that powerful. If he breaks his wrist, the whole of India almost comes to a standstill. There are shrines of him. And literally people go on the show in the audience, and they stand there and they look to try and get eye contact with him when he doing his cues. And if they do, it's like a blessing. I mean, to have looked at me...yeah. So you can imagine... it's like Barack Obama hosting a game show."
