Pakistan tests 5th Nuclear Capable Missile in less than a Month

A statement issued by Pakistan’s military stated that “a successful test of Hatf-VII (Babur) was conducted in the presence of top military officials on Tuesday.”

The Hatf-VII, a low-flying cruise missile, has high maneuverability, great accuracy and can avoid radars, according to the Pakistani military statement.
It also incorporates the most modern cruise missile technology of Terrain Contour Matching (TERCOM) and Digital Scene Matching and Area Co-relation (DSMAC), which enhances its precision and effectiveness manifolds, the statement said.

The launch of Hatf-VII marked Pakistan’s fifth missile test after its rival India tested a new long-range missile capable of delivering atomic warheads about six weeks ago.

On April 20, India successfully launched nuclear-capable Agni V missile which has a range of more than 5,000 km (3,100 miles) and is capable of hitting anywhere in regional military rival, China.

Pakistan says its missile tests will help strengthen its security.

India and Pakistan have routinely carried out missile tests since both demonstrated their nuclear weapons capability with a round of tit-for-tat nuclear tests in 1998. The two neighbors have engaged in what some experts describe as an arms race since the partition of Pakistan from India in 1947.

  • How can countries where the majority of their population lives in caves or mud homes with dirt floors and open sewers have nuclear weapons? How is this possible? And I am talking the VAST MAJORITY of their population lives in squalor. How is this possible? No electricity, no plumbing, no clean water, no sanitation of any kind. They pack people on trains like sardines in cans. People sit on the roofs of the trains while others bring their farm animals on board.

    How is this possible?

    • @dirtbiker201 That's where you're wrong.

The mass majority don't live like that.

20% of Pakistan's 180 Million people live like that.

      50% Live a hard life.

The other 30% live a great live.

Its just a different processes. Weapon development and nation development. They will improve with the time or perish completely.

Open sewers.. youre assuming they have sewers?
Easy answer. You ignore them. Thats what happens in poor countries. Life is cheap. But.. before you're saying too much, look around at health care in your own country. look at how much gets spent on defense as opposed to infrastructure spending.
