My brother was a Maintenance-crew chief on these babies back during the Vietnam war. He armed them up for 18 months while they were flying into Nam. The best plane for the job ever built. They stay ready 24/1/365.

Was reading a book about Fighter Command recently and there was an interesting part about the Bomber Command in WWII ... The author had a point when he said that carpet bombing in fact against civilian population (Germans over England, Allies over Germany, US over North Vietnam) does not work in making the population deciding to overthrow the ruler.
Still a super nice bird and one of the longest in service.
