  • More partisan "facts" from someone who believes that one of the two corrupt parties that run this country actually is interested in helping him. Anyone that goes into polls this November and thinks "This will help the AMERICAN economy!" and then casts a vote for Barry or Mittens...is a fucking moron.

  • Well, you COULD HAVE elected Ron Paul and all of this would be over. But NOOOOO, USA citizens seem to enjoy getting fucked in the ass by these lobbyist motherf*ckers.

  • Obama is smiling because his mission to turn the US into a third world country is almost complete.

  • Yeah and having John McCain and a VP Palin would have been an obvious choice after 8 years of W. The cost of gas has nothing to do with Obama and calling him Barry is just lame.

  • I stopped at the first line because it's typical gadfly parroting. Yes, the day Obama took office gas prices were dropping - the entire fucking economy was in a free fall. But how come none of you hardline right wingers remembers the record high gas prices of 2008 - averaging well over $4/gallon? I'm no big fan of Obama, but I swear, you guys just distort facts, use incomplete data and outright lie as if everyone is as gullible as your peers.

No, I'm not. I know you want to paint me as a liberal, but you wanna know something funny? Hardcore liberals try to paint me as a conservative. That's what happens when you think for yourself and don't take slanted news or internet posts as gospel. Oh, I only recall blaming GWB for two major things, and the price of gas was not one of them. Anything else?

  • Let's de-regulate the banking industry!
    J.P. Morgan will be happy.

Let's abolish Social Security, and Medicare!
This will take all those pesky seniors-to-be off the dole. How dare they!

Let's reduce the cap gains tax to 0!
The 'job creators' will create sooo many more jobs.

Let's increase military spending to all time amounts!
We are, after all, the worlds policeman.

Let's get rid of the EPA, Dept. of education, and other useless dept's!
    Waste of taxpayer money.

In short, let's keep our gru More..

  • i do not like obama but there is about 0% logic relevancy in this post. your clearly trying to blame the recession ALL on obama thats simply not true. now lets look up the enemplyment rates in 2000.

  • God knows I think Obama is worthless, BUT in all fairness, I have to point out that gas only dropped to $1.85 immediately after he got elected. Prior to that gas was $5.00 a gallon...

    Posted Jun-13-2012 By

  • I can remember gas was around $3.something.... and still is, first fact is total bs, why even read the rest....

  • It's just another con job. They worked out a deal with the oil companies to let them raise prices over a period of time
just to lower it for a time before the election. Both get what they want while the economic recovery is set back.
Supply and demand is nonsense when the supply is controlled by domestic Cartels and Wall St.
It doesn't really matter because we'll just replace a left wing fanatic with a right wing fanatic, and start over.

  • It's okay that he's fucking with everyone; it's okay that he's a puppet of malevolent scumfucks and is turning the planet into a sewer. It's OK because he can tell a few jokes and we can laugh it all away.

  • I still can't believe that so many people believe that Obama really has anything to do with gas prices. That's just ignorance.

If that were really the case, gas was over $4 a gallon under Bush. But, unlike some people, I know that Bush had nothing to do with high gas prices.

Now, as for the rest of this list? Besides the fact that Obama inherited one of the worst economies from Bush, it's hard to recover from a recession with a congress that won't work with you.

  • In July 2008 under Bush the gas price was 4.27 dollars.
Fox News, July 1, 2008 CHERYL CASONE, Fox Business News: You know, at this point, it really is tough for this president. I have to be honest with you, because he really does not have any control what’s gonna happen with the markets and with the economy, and with oil prices and supply and demand and gasoline, it really is out of this president’s hands.

The child poverty rate in 2008 (at the end of Bush era) was 20%, now 22%. U.S. Censu More..
