Assailants set upon a man and stabbed him in the chest during an attack at a northeast townhouse complex Wednesday night.

Global Television reports the man died overnight.

The man, in his early 20s, was critically injured during the assault at a property in the 100 block of Manora Place N.E. shortly before 8:30 p.m.

"Five to six (Middle Eastern) males came up to a condo complex and stabbed the victim once in the chest," said duty inspector Frank Farkas.


Although police located witnesses, they had no suspects in custody Wednesday night. It's believed the culprits sped from the scene in a grey truck.
