Huntsville, Al. -- The collapse of a grain silo was caught on tape in Huntsville on Friday.
Workers noticed the silo filled with nearly $1 million worth of wheat was buckling around noon.
In less than four hours, farm crews were able to unload about 30,000 of the approximately 200,000 bushels of wheat the silo contained before it fell at about 3:45 p-m.
It will take a few days but, after filtering and cleaning, the spilled grain can be salvaged according to Alabama farmers cooperative officials.
Officials said it will cost more than $1 million to replace the 10-year-old silo.
