Sentence expected today for Johannes Mehserle. For those of you who don't know hes the former BART officer who shot and killed an unarmed black man in Oakland on Jan 1, 2009. The vid was and probably still is on LL. My question is If he gets any prison time, is that a death sentence for him. The blacks obviously would try to kill him, and he used to be a cop so the whites won't want anything to do with him either. No prison sentence might be unjust, even though it was an accident. Can the prison keep him safe? Will he get probation?
