What is truly possible when nature is set to one side and instinct is replaced with passion, determination and skill?

Great, kid. You can do backside/frontside airs and slashes and/or additional combinations ad nauseum at the wave tank. Was the music supposed to make it better?

@daleastor Surfing has become more of how many lips can you smash through and how many airs you can pull.

I know. I know.
It's fun to do all day long. But to watch it over and over in video gets a little ZZZZzzzzzzz

Don't get me wrong. This Dubai tank is freakin' cool. I'll be first in that water if I ever make it there. Wonder if it's salt, or freshwater? Probably fresh.

@daleastor Salt would be too corrosive over time. I totally agree. Was watching the Signature Series from Huntington Beach and all they were doing was catching air. Got old super quick.

@Dear Leader
Salt makes better waves, and better for beginners. I know there are some that run salt, like the huge Siam Park/Wave Palace/Thailand. The water in this Dubai tank looks to be either/or at times. But then, this isn't "Dubai" proper - it's the Wadi tank in Al Ain which is quite a bit offshore. Maybe desalinated?

Massive concrete wall at the end of the wave looks a little dangerous

Aside from the hajii tents, this looks like palm springs.
