In the South Atlantic Ocean there is a spike 1075 feet tall at a depth of more than 3100 meters below the water surface.

It seems entirely possible at this depth that James Cameron could take the Challenger Deep to a more interesting environment than the Marianas Trench.

These anomalies can be found in a linear path about halfway between Antarctica and South Africa.
