Mars Curiosity decent Ultra-resolution, smooth-motion, detail-enhanced landing - awesome !
Working frame-by-frame, it took me four weeks to produce this video. It was a painstaking labor of love. You can support my efforts with a donation or a message of support.
Ultra-resolution, smooth-motion, detail-enhanced, color-corrected, interpolated from the original 4 frames per second to 30 frames per second. This video plays real-time at the speed that Curiosity descended to the surface of Mars on August 6, 2012.
Share this video with your friends. I think it's wonderful that everyone on Earth has a chance to see this amazing footage from Mars

Oh! I was thinking you were a Chimpanzee all this time. You would probably have a better chance of going to Mars, if you were.

@mytwocents Damn...count me in too. I hope they can get video from where they think there is flowing water...that would be astonishing to see...flowing water on another planet.

No feature as I don't think anyone marks things as such after a certain time ... Everyone's sleeping :(
Instead of something cool like this you have a guy hitting someone else with a fish. Redefining the Media.

This should be featured. Outstanding clarity. I watched the heat shield all the way to impact...even saw it bounce. Cool ass video.

that's something I've always wanted to see, and as smooth as that, it's a remarkable film. praise alone for these people at NASA and JPL is really not enough. their names should go down in World History as being Engineers and Space Scientists par excellence.

@thecleaner001 They come up with some crazy stuff. Parachutes a that speed, lowering Curiosity by cables before having the landing unit fly away. All autonomously, very cool stuff.
