submarine outside gothenburg?
submarine or an animal?
video was caught the 10 days before the swedish navy sent ships to gotherburg to look for a foreign submarine.
http://www.thelocal.se/36164/20110915/
the bouy/net had the name käringön kristina which is the ship kristina from the island käringön.
she sais also that it goes a bit to straight forward for being an porpoise stuck in a net.

That was no animal....and if they waited 10 days to go look for a sub, they were 10 days too late

Russian sub got caught in a buoy in swedish waters. My guess anyway. Russians have a long history of trespassing swedish waters with their stinking subs.

It's a creature.There is no way a sub could slow down as fast as it did when it crossed the path of the sailboat.More paranoid hulabaloo by the lame stream media.

@SSstormtr00per Don't be surprised if it's an signal buoy from a sub. It may be attached to a non-stretched cable hence the acceleration and deceleration. See my post above. We've had some violations of our territory before. Russians do it by sea. Americans do it by air.

@Airedale Maybe it's a french sub. ;)
Or it could be an animal or current dragging some random buoy attached to something below.
It could be a buoy that's intended to be seen. Like an emergency buoy or something that lets american command track it during games. Or a mechanical failure that deploys it.
Could be a decoy for media so you guys think we're that easy to spot.
And it can be that the color of the buoy isn't considered a problem since it's so small.
Lots of options.. not enough info More..
