That's really impressive. Road bikes don't have a geometry suited for that style of riding. This guy is obviously a very skilled trials rider.
It also shows you just how strong today's carbon fiber frames and wheels are. I bet that bike is sub-16 pounds.

@detroit_doc No it shows nothing. How often do you think they broke the wheel spokes in making that video? I crinched everytime he jumped down those big steps, those bike are just not designed for that kind of stress.

Many road bikes were harmed in the making of this film.

IMO, this is quite obviously a cyclo-cross bike. Still, it's so very impressing!

@skylax Get that stick out of your ass dude. It's obviously a stable and sturdy bike, otherwise he wouldn't attempt it. He clearly landed those jumps just fine.

Beautiful skills. Beautiful country. Wonder how many tines he hurt himself practicing these stunts.

Well this guy certainly has control over his bike and body.
I have an equal amount of control over my lazy chair...

Pinarello Prince with Dura Ace components and carbon fiber wheels, that makes for about a $7,000-$8,000 ride. One thing is for sure he has confidence.

@georgert Just as the video started and i saw it was a Pinarello, i thought "Man, that bike is beautiful, this is gonna be good!" It was better, that dude is badass doing that with a road bike.

I thought my $2200 Cannondale was badass... This guy makes me jealous. Then again I don't ride for a living or anything, just for fun.

Probably. I thought the Dogma's front fork was more curved than what I saw in the vid so I assumed it was a Prince, but they're both awesome bikes.
