Amazing drag race save 
9 second, 140mph Mazda Miata with an RB26 GTR engine spins up, spectacularly fishtailing down the track, narrowly avoiding a big smash.
Driver claims coolant caused tyre to spin up, looks like he may have also been off line a bit too.
Have a feeling that if it was longer wheelbase and not a nimble, small japanese car, things could have ended differently.
Miata is a Mazda MX5 in most JDM and non US export markets.
