  • Really just an overblown piece there. We still ship tons of supplies in Afghanistan all the time, manpower, food, equipment etc......we'll get out and Pakistan will absolutely let us out. The political and economic pressure we'll put on them will be suffocating.

  • This is clearly a logistics issue, posting this video to LL's is ridiculous, the only place a video like this has is in a corporate logistics office.

Hence i can see how some individuals from the below comments get aroused and speculate ridiculous theories.

  • BBC and Al Jazeera carry more and better news than most US outlets. You would never see a post like this on US TV. Too many strange place names, too few easy answerw. Is Dancing with the Kardashians on tonight?

    • @Rational_Surge BBC, Al Jazeera, CNN, RT, Fox are biased more or less.
I like and respect Deutsche Welle for its objectiveness and Euronews also.

  • What's going to happen is most of the stuff is getting left there. It is not economical to bring home most of the heavy equipment etc, that is probably totally worn out anyway. They are not going to spend $30,000 in fuel to haul out a humvee by land. The important stuff they will fly out by C-17 to an airfield closest to the nearest friendly port. There's very few vehicles that can't be hauled by a C-17 or a C-5, they are capable of hauling an M1 tank.

What the afghans can't use and that is More..

  • Troops can be flown out. I suppose you could fly out the good stuff and sell the shit stuff to the Afghani government.

  • Well, it didnt stop the west to invade two countries and kill thousands of innocent people for bullshit reasons, what's gonna stop em from leaving. All this horseshit to no avail what so ever.

  • This is silly, it would be trivial to fly them out.

  • Well, fuck it then. If we can't leave, we'll just stay there and use it as a combat training facility just like al qaeda did except much better.
I'm sure we'll be in a war somewhere just about all the time, so let's have REAL live fire training while killing jihadis as fast as they can get there. Hell, we could offer free transportation to the 'stan for any goat fucker who wants to become a martyr. Sort of like a canned hunt but with no pigeons and the target can shoot back.

  • Interesting. But Why would they leave? This is not the end of armed conflict. The US military does not need the currently Afghan based army anywhere at the moment?

  • It'll get out the same way that it got in.
