Quoted comment by ChockFullOfNuts: Thanks Jenva. I've got a friend in Kinglake, and I haven't heard anything about her. I fear the worst.
I am sorry to know that chock, there are still about 80 people missing and unaccounted for. Each day there are reunions at the community centres with people coming out to register that they are safe and well. Lets hope she is one of those.
I really wish the media wouldnt call it 'Black Saturday". Why is it we always have to name tragedies. We already have Ash Wednesday and Black Friday our other fire disasters. Just let them be.
Thanks for the post "jenva" I have donated and I wish for normality for every one affected, it's unbelievable the fury that is displayed in these photographs, it must have been hell on earth for the folk that endured that fire storm, my thoughts and sympathies are with them.
Jenva great post! Thanks for sharing a little of what you guys are expereincing! Hope things get under control soon.... God bless everyone who has lost so much...
Excellent upload. Condolences to the those who have lost loved ones.
Big hug goes out to my brother and sister firefighters in Australia, "Who walk where the devil dances"...

I wouldnt help, most of the fires were at over 1500 feet above sea level. What we need is rain, like Queensland is having.
