@Kbdroll
I wasn't expecting 3 1/2 minutes :-0
It's like the lead pilot said -
"Ok, let's do the usual flypast and then just piss-around."
Really really good show they put on there.

The Spitfire to us British is much more than an aeroplane. It is almost a living entity, and a symbol of defiance against overwhelming odds.

I ain't ashamed to admit. When I see and hear these planes it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, and brings emotions to the surface. I don't know if its the thought of what these machines symbolize, the bravery they represent or just the sound and grace. They are an absolute work of mechanical art. I was sat in the Swordfish Pub in Lee on Solent back in the UK about 12 years ago. It was a clear and bright Sunday morning. I was waiting for some buddies to go for a blast on the bikes, More..

Where he does the roll reminds me of Robert Shaw in the Battle Of Britain film giving the young pilot a bollocking for it.
Great vid.

@Bill Carson
I got the 'Definitive Edition' DVD recently.
It's like they went back to the 35mm or 70mm master and cleaned it up.
Staggering quality.
All the cast were paid the same, and had to beg to be in the film.

Poetry in fucking motion! That sound sends chills up my spine! I bet that sound made more than a few Germans shit their pants at one time too! Great upload, faved and voted.
What is most cool, is that The Brits were smart enough to save some of their Warbirds, nowadays they're flown by active duty Royal Air Force fighter pilots, it's a huge honor and privilege to be selected for The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight; and a lot of the pilots split for Operational combat tours in A'stan then come More..
