  • I participate in Boyscouts activities with my son. First of all the boyscouts handbook entire chapter is dedicated to topics of child sexual abuse, how to recognize it and deal with it.     • @Freedomfighter77 I don't see your point? Each boyscout den is based on a local community volunteers. Kids and parents get together and participate in structured activities. The boyscrouts of america simply provides framework and guidelines for the activities and code of conduct. If there are child abuse allegations in some local dens I don't see how national organization would cover it up.   • I notice from the other comments that a few of you are adamant that nothing happened to you when you were in the Scouts. That is fair enough, and I am glad that nothing happened to you. However it is a sad reality that in most youth organisations there are people who use their position of trust and influence to seek out victims for their own depraved needs.
