How did you charge the batteries on the energy-hogging VHS camcorder during this apocalypse, unless the power plants, coal trains, water plants, and natural gas plants (not to mention adequate food and accommodations for the workers) are all protected from zombies. ;P

The walking dead is squandered potential.
Like all zombie movies/tv shows, it follows the dumbest possible people in a zombie apocalypse.
"M16s everywhere? I'll just hold onto this here bag of bolt action rifles and pump action shotguns."
I mean if they like the style that's cool, but just don't put in scenes where the streets are littered with great weapons to grab hold of.
