Carbon protesters interrupt Question Time - Australia

interrupted by protesters angry at the passing of the Government's
carbon tax bills through the Lower House. Batches of protesters
in the public gallery, chanting "no mandate, democracy is dead",
interrupted Prime Minister Julia Gillard four times as she attempted to
answer a question.About 80 protesters in all were escorted out of the gallery by attendants.
Two
male protesters stood up from the speaker's gallery, at the end of the
chamber, waving shoes and shouting at Ms Gillard: "What happened to your
shoe leather?"One of the men wrestled with security guards as they tried to remove him.
The Speaker, Harry Jenkins, admonished the protesters but refused to close Question Time to the public.

Ah yes federal income means to find a source and tax it. They have found carbon in emissions, so lets tax the nation for it. What bloody rubbish this all is.

what an unmitigated pile of drool. Again more and more government intervention into the lives of the public by using a damaging taxation to extract as much funds out of the pockets of the working people.
Liberalism gone amok.
How many more stories and reports does it take internationally to get these jerks out of our pockets. It was a crafted, well organized international money grab using Carbon as the method of madness. People didn't understand the significance of Carbon in their lives, and t More..

the reality is, NO, we don't all live in the Outback, and we all don't live not having to worry about heating our homes. So, no we can't live a Crocodile Dundee life. Even in the Ausie Outback, it can only support a extremely limited number of people. There just isn't any resources there. Look to Africa, millions of underfed people. And when you do feed them, they breed faster than bunnies.

God, I'm sick of these fuckers taxing us unendingly. I'd vote for anyone ballsy enough to assassinate any one of those pricks in government. That bitch gillard is the worst type of backstabbing, lying ranga whore. I wouldn't waste good saliva to spit on her....and up until KRudd before her I was a labour voter. Never again.

Back up for a second. I clearly remember, one or two years ago, some Aussie in charge making a statement: "WE. DO. NOT. SUPPORT. GLOBAL. WARMING. And we will not spend money for it".
"Carbon tax"? SHIIIT! Aussies have many, many reasons to be angry. They cannot read what they wish ("Soldier of Fortune" magazine, for instance, is BANNED). They cannot own real guns (no more semi-autos, period). The police are allowed, by law, to enter your house anytime they More..

Australia produces more CO2 then United States per capita, we should have a carbon tax for that reason alone.
