  • Anything that cages an animal in such a small space is a scum...zoos were cool in the 20th century...but that shit is done...we know better. I dont care if your kids dont get to see a flippin dolphin because you promised them after taking them to a pixar movie....its not your call to torture and exploit animals ...and most of...even me ..is guilty of being complicit in this industry bcause we dont do anything about it...this is in canada ...image a fuckin 3 rd world country....

    It's a shame this came from the Toronto Star, though. The paper is notorious for it's embellishment and unreliable reporting. I'd like to see a thorough, proper investigation done by a credible source.

      It's very likely that things aren't up to par at Marineland, but I agree that someone more credible should be tasked with investigating this matter. The Toronto Star is an absolute shit source for news, perhaps rivaled only by Fox in its ability to lie, twist, embellish or downright fabricate facts.

      I was there 20 years ago as a kid.... Even at my young age i knew this place wasnt right.... You used to be able to buy Marshmellows to feed to the Bears.... Yes! MarshMellows! The Bears were over crowded and waved to you or clapped, begging for food. It was sad to see these huge beasts resort to begging for marshmellows
