Excellent.
It is always humbling, to think that both my grandads went over the top at the Somme.
My genes were there.

Its crazy to think how if they would have died you wouldn't exist. My grandpa had all sorts of amazing stories and close calls from WWII. If any of those close calls would have hit him I wouldn't be here.

It's nice to think they didn't see Obama coming. But he did so now it's your time to fight what your family fought for. I'll stand before you to take a shot. Some things in life are worth dieing for.

It is so sad you would even have the nerve to mention your pathetic little issues with Obama, in a thread talking about the deaths of over 40 million people and the destruction of Europe, in one of the worst wars in Earth's history. It's disrespectful and rude and unconscionable!

And WWI was a sequel to the Franco-Prussian war, which was itself, to some extent, a result of the French Revolutionary/Napoleonic Wars, which in turn harked back to the Seven Years War, and so on through the Thirty Years War and beyond.
The rise and decline of Spain, followed by the rise and decline of France and then the unification, rise and fall of Germany led to waves of warfare across Europe from the 16th century onwards. It's only fortunate that the rise of Russia in the mid-to-late 20 More..

The only people who think war is good are pimply faced kids who play too much COD or retarded adults who've never ever ever experienced the true face of war.
