    Then they allowed "Don't ask, don't tell".
    Then they allowed openly gay service.

I guess you mean we need to learn to accept something that is not the norm or historically acceptable in our military? I have no problem with that, Marines adjust, we're trained to! Humanity will always know that homosexuality is a minor segment of our population, as science shows.
