Hanging of two men and a woman in public in Iran - Tabriz **Warning, may offend some viewers**
Tehran, Iran, Jul. 15 – Iranian authorities hanged a woman in public in the north-western province of East Azerbaijan, state media reported on Sunday.
The unnamed woman was hanged in public in the provincial capital Tabriz, the daily Tehran-e Emrouz wrote.The report put her age at 29.
She was accused of murder and conspiring to kill.

articmedic can you imagine having your wind pipe slowly crushed to the point where you can't breath. I think it's at that pint that one starts to suffer as you can see by her waving her arms about. If she has never been grabbed by the throat she sure has now. Too bad the camera wasn't on the other side so we can get a front view of her suffering. She took that like a sissy don't you think cause the other two guys just went upand took it like a man. What do you think arcticmedic. Do you think she has soiled herself.

The noose wasn't tight around her neck. Had it been, she'd have been as limp as the men who were basically out of it seconds after being elevated. She sure as shit suffered.

Thats not hanging, thats choking. Cant these people do a humane execution? Is that agaisnt allah to show some humane treatment? I noticed this said she was "accused" of muder, it dosent say she was executed because she was "guilty" of murder...only accused???

Tehran: An Iranian woman who killed her husband and paid two men to murder three of her in-laws has been hanged along with her two accomplices at a joint execution watched by thousands of people, a newspaper reported on Sunday.
The woman, identified only as Houriyeh, 29, and the two men were sentenced to death for the murders three months ago in northwestern Iran, the Tehran-e Emrouz daily said on Sunday. They were hanged on Saturday.
Hanging is the most usual form of execution in Iran but women are rarely executed in public.
The daily published a picture of Houriyeh, and the two men, Farhad and Reza, hauled into the air by ropes attached to cranes. Houriyeh was wearing a head-to-toe black chador.

The newspaper said the woman had strangled her husband while he slept. The same night her two male accomplices, who were paid 1 billion rials ($108,000), strangled her husband's parents and stabbed his brother to death, it added.
"She had serious problems with her husband and hated his family. She hired Farhad and Reza to kill her brother-in-law and his parents," an unnamed judiciary official told the paper.
The case attracted great public interest and about 5,000 people, including judiciary and police officials, gathered to watch the hangings.
Murder, rape, adultery, armed robbery, apostasy and drug trafficking are all punishable by death under Iran's Islamic Sharia law, imposed since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
