CHERRY HILL, N.J. - July 29, 2012
Two assholes are facing DWI charges after fleeing from New Jersey State Troopers in Cherry Hill.
Just before 7:00 p.m., two off-duty troopers were traveling southbound on Route 295 when they noticed two men in a vehicle drinking beer and throwing the empty cans out the windows, hitting the
vehicles behind them. According to authorities, the off-duty troopers pulled up beside the vehicle, which then sped off.
Shortly thereafter, the suspects' vehicle crashed into the center median near exit 32 in Cherry Hill.
The off-duty troopers pulled up to the scene and the two men tried to flee until the trooper pulled his gun.
Police say neither of the two men spoke English, so the trooper had to pull his gun to show how serious the situation was.
More state troopers arrived to the scene and took the two into custody.
Authorities say neither had a license; both are uninsured and under the legal age for drinking.
They are in State Police custody and will be charged with various offences included DWI.
