The only reason Pakistan is not under UN occupation is because you did what we told you to do and when. China has already had its way over Tibet and Taiwan, and with Obambi refusing to meet the Dalai lama, the Chinese will be tempted to start throwing their weight around.
I cant see an outbreak of war unless 1) China obtains some form of credible missile defence or 2) India decides not to use nuclear weapons. In which case the Chinese will conduct a land grab before the talking heads of the world create a false "peace".
Whatever Chinas pre millenial history, claiming parts of india, vietnam, manchuria etc. is just pushing it.
