@ST0N3PONY ah zofty has a point, the Iranian Army is not suffering from 10 years of sanctions, nor have they suffered a strategic defeat like the Iraqi Army did in 1991 in Kuwait. The Iranian Army does have the latest Russian weaponry and is strong and ready for battle, unlike the already defeated Iraqi Army of 2003. As for Iraq stomping Iran no way the Iran Iraq War was a draw if there ever was one, in fact Iran would have taken Basra if Saddam hadn't used chemical weapons.

It took 21 days I believe, we lost about 100 soldiers? To smash one of the largest standing militaries on Earth. Iran fought them for a decade and lost a quarter million soldiers.
And yeah. You're right. We didn't smash them unmercifully in the first Gulf War too.

@ST0N3PONY dude you are talking propaganda here, new generation Russian hardware is good even by 1st world standards, they have a sophisticated AA defence system that would shoot down more then drones, and yes that is how long it took the American supplied and advised Iraqi Army to reach peace with Iran, the Iranian Army is probably the finest Army in the Middle East (apart from Turkey). @Challenge Accepted Yes I've heard all of this nonsense already. What's it called? The sunfire missile? More bogus crap that Russia conned them in to buying. There is no uniformed military in the world that can stand in front of the US military.
Their Russian SAMs would never get a chance to shoot at anything other than UAVs. The UAVs either achieve their goal and bomb their target, or the SAMs reveal themselves and fire, at which point they're blown up.
