    • The Germans used AA guns to great effect for ground battles in WWII. The 88mm was a particularly effective tank killer.

      The AA guns in this case are smaller but are very effective against vehicles and people. They are being used by both sides. (It sort of makes you wonder what threat Libya was defending against. These weapons are anti-helicopter and anti ground strike. Perhaps they were worried about an infantry attack with close air support?)

    • A plane landing in Cyprus isn't quite an air to ground attack on Libyans.

      With all the cell phone cameras everywhere in that sh*thole of a country, I have yet to see video of these air to ground attacks on innocent civilians occurring. Nor have I see a single photo that conclusively proves the use of any really heavy ordinance. I've seen random fires and smoke, but that just proves stuff is burning, not who set the fires, and how they were set.

    • i agreed with you until the end where you denied the massacres...i am also waiting for a video of a bomb going off or some fires that dont look like some protester poured some gas and lit a car on fire...but to deny that the Pro govt forces are not mowing down citizens is crazy, there was a video on here a week ago of people waving flags getting cut down...you cant deny the massacres
