Who are You? Who Who, Who Who....I Really Want to Know!


As usual, the liberals and Democrats are crying racism. This time they are saying that asking for proof of identification at the polls is somehow racist. Yet again, liberals fail to address the actual issue of voter fraud and how to combat it, and ultimately they play the race card.


Voting is not just our constitutional right, but it is a duty that most of us cherish because so many
have died to gain and preserve this liberty for all Americans. As a disabled veteran myself, I feel that I didn’t just receive this gift as a birthright, but I actually earned my right to vote through service
to my nation. An illegally cast vote is a crime and a threat to our entire way of life.



Here are a few things you need a photo ID for:

• cashing a check or money order,
• boarding a plane, bus or ship
• buying alcohol or cigarettes,
• getting a marriage license or driver’s license,
• picking up a prescription from a pharmacy,
• buying a home or car,
• renting an apartment or a car,
• getting a job,
• applying for welfare,
• applying for food stamps,
• applying for Medicare,
• applying for social security
• applying for unemployment,
• opening a bank account,
• registering for college,
• purchasing a firearm,
• admission to a hospital,
• securing a US Post Office box,
• registering for selective service when males turn 18, etc.

This list is obviously not all inclusive, but it does serve to show that it’s pretty
difficult to function in our society today if one doesn’t have a photo ID.


If requiring a photo ID for the actions mentioned in the list above is legal, how is
requiring a photo ID to vote at the polls racist or discriminatory?


On 10 July 2012, 18 year old Victoria Rose Rodriguez, a teenager from San Antonio, Texas told
a federal court in Washington, DC that her parents are too busy to take her or her twin sister to get the new voter identification cards required by the law. Texas is currently defending a new law
which would require a photo ID and those who don’t currently have one would have to apply for a new “election identification certificate.” The teen claimed, “"My dad works all day…and my mother is the sole caretaker for my grandmother."


Yet Ms. Rodriguez somehow found the means to travel all the way from San Antonio, Texas
to Washington, DC.


Whoa! So we are to believe that Ms. Rodriguez had the time and resources to travel 1,600 miles, half way across the country, but has no possible way to travel a few miles across town to get a voter ID? Whatever.


Why aren’t minorities appalled or offended at Democrats and liberals portraying
them as too ignorant, too incapable, or too incompetent to figure out how to
get a photo ID?


When South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley offered to give voters free rides to obtain their photo ID after she passed a similar law, only 48 people out of supposedly 178,000 who officials believe don’t have a photo ID, took her up on her offer. When afforded a free ride at the date and time of their choosing—people chose not to obtain a photo ID. These people can’t claim they didn’t have a way to get to the DMV, can’t claim they couldn’t afford it, and can’t claim discrimination.


The Democrats are deflecting and trying to avoid any discussion about how voter fraud is
disenfranchising American citizens. The Democrats don’t care about ending voter
fraud---they want to exploit it. They want to cheat, they want people to be able
to vote numerous times pretending to be different people, and they want illegal
aliens to vote and vote often.


An illegal vote cancels out a legal vote. Every illegal vote silences a voice—your
voice.
