@mylostsoul As a matter of fact, I lived in Los Angeles for 12 years. I loved it, had a great time. I made a great living and partied my ass off for years, but moved away a few years ago. It's a wonderful place, but you need to quit confusing the economic, tax, and political situation in California with that of the Federal Government and the rest of the country. California's problems really stem from the ballot initiatives that come up during every election.

@pruut 55% for all would be better than having tax laws which allow the rich to sneak around those laws to actually pay just 8%.
And now you just need to look which party is stroking the rich with exclusions.
To solve the desaster its most important to make the masses capable consuming goods, thus creating jobs etc.
but in a land everything you see is 'made in china' and noone cares will render this to be a double sided sword.
