He is spot on. TV has had the hold on generations of people, it is less about news and truth; and more about hype and disinformation.
And now we have the internet which does the same thing, but we purposely look for the "truth" that suits our own paradigm of the "truth"

Yea. How true...however its up to us to be awear and informed,not just to except everything we are told,being offered to us as gosbel truth the choice is ours After all we are liveing in the infomation age.
