Police dash cam:April 20/08:Authorities are looking for the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured a Pennsylvania state trooper on Sunday night along I-95 and kept on going.

Troop K captain David Young says state trooper Andrew Falcon was issuing a motorist a citation for equipment and registration violations:

"As the trooper was explaining the citation, a motor vehicle comes speeding by and actually strikes the trooper in his back and in his left arm with what appears to be the mirror of the vehicle. "

Young says Falcon was able to keep his wits, staying on his feet and off the busy highway. He was able to radio for help

The woman he had pulled over happened to be an emergency medical technician. She called 911 and looked after the trooper. Falcon suffered elbow bruises and a lumbar sprain. He was treated at Frankford-Torresdale Hospital and released.

Police were looking for a burgundy or red SUV or van with silver wheels and possibly Pennsylvania tags, and which may have right side mirror damage.
