So I remember seeing this movie in 1998 when it came out. My netflix came yesterday, including "The Siege". Anyway, when I saw this scene again, I had to post it up here. This is exactly what has happened. Have we not shredded our constitution just a bit, bent the law just a little in order to fight terror? It doesnt matter how you name it whether its "the Patriot Act" or some other name that beguiles the fact that it skirts the principles that this country was founded on. Does that not make us less than what we were before this war on terror started? Is that the beginning of the end of the real America? Here is the quote in its entirety:
