Syria Sturmgewehr 44 stockpile
A bit of a find. My first Syria post. Quite frankly I'm sick of them. However if anything positive has come from the conflict it is probably this

Exactly, just a novelty relic. I'd like to buy a few assuming they aren't knockoff clones or some such...

@Ben Cambone Yugoslavia was kicking out 8mm Kurz and 8mm Ammo in huge quantities before they fell apart. Very likely that there is a bunch of Yugo 8mm Kurz in Syria...just like all the other German WWII stuff that is there.

Think shelf-life. 20yrs stable if properly stored. These fags had better hope it was...

@Ben Cambone Think most of the old ammo was 'corrosive' which I believe is more stable. I have shot a decent amount of ww2 era ammo, and a buddy has shot quite a bit more of it than I...never had any problems with it. Mostly the 8mm for the k98 and g98s.

I'll buy one, always wanted to add StG44 to my collection. List them on gunbroker, buy 3 AK's for the money 1 StG44 will make.

@grindkore Try 40 AKs....an Original untouched STG44 can go for between $15k and $25k depending on Year and Condition.
