OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma County judge sentenced a mother Friday accused of keeping her son tied up in a closet and abusing him for four years.

The teen was choked, starved, stabbed, tied up and set on fire. The 15-year-old said he was being abused because his mother and her friend thought he was stealing food from the kitchen.

His mother, LaRhonda McCall, pleaded guilty last year and agreed to let a judge set her penalty. The judge sentenced McCall to two life terms for abusing the boy.

Her friend, Steve Hamilton, was sentenced to life plus 20 years.

The victim sent a letter to the judge saying quote, "I forgive my mother but I will never forget what she did and words she said to me."
